Research standards
Our quality framework
Four principles govern how material is sourced, tested, documented and described. They apply to every batch in the catalog without exception.
Documentation First
Nothing is listed without paperwork behind it. Each batch carries a written specification, an analytical report and a record of the laboratory that produced it. If the documentation is incomplete, the batch is not offered for sale.
Independent Verification via HPLC-MS
Purity is measured by high-performance liquid chromatography and identity is confirmed by mass spectrometry, performed by laboratories independent of the manufacturer. Batches below our 99% purity specification are rejected.
Batch Transparency
Every vial label carries a batch number that resolves to its own certificate of analysis on this site. The result you read is the result for the material you hold — not a representative sample or an historical average.
Responsible Positioning
These are laboratory materials and we describe them as such. We publish no medical, therapeutic or dosing guidance, make no claims about outcomes in humans or animals, and supply only to buyers who confirm they are qualified to handle research materials.
How to read a COA
A certificate of analysis is only useful if you can interrogate it. These are the five fields to check on any report, ours included.
Batch ID
RETA-2609A
Must match the number printed on your vial label. If a certificate carries no batch ID, it cannot be tied to the material in your hand.
Purity %
99.4% by HPLC
The proportion of the main chromatographic peak. Check it against the supplier's stated specification — ours is a 99% floor.
HPLC method
RP-HPLC, 220 nm, gradient elution
Column, mobile phase, gradient and detection wavelength. Without the method, a purity figure cannot be compared between reports.
Test date
Sep 4, 2026
The date the batch was assayed. A recent date on the batch you are buying matters more than an impressive historical result.
Lab verification
Independent analytical laboratory
The name of the laboratory that ran the assay, independent of the manufacturer, plus identity confirmation by mass spectrometry.

Certificates of analysis for every current batch are available to view and download from the lab results page and from each product page.
