Shipping Policy

Same-day dispatch from our United States warehouse. See also track your order and our refund & returns policy.

1. Where orders ship from

All orders are picked, packed and dispatched from our own warehouse in the United States. Stock is held domestically, so orders do not cross a border after you place them and are not subject to import delays or customs inspection.

2. Order processing

Orders confirmed before 2:00 PM Eastern on a business day are dispatched the same business day. Orders placed after that time, at a weekend, or on a public holiday are dispatched on the next business day.

Orders may be held briefly where payment verification or purchaser qualification needs confirming. If a hold is going to delay dispatch by more than one business day we will email you.

3. Carriers and transit times

Domestic orders ship by USPS Priority Mail with tracking. Typical transit is 2–3 business days, with most metropolitan destinations arriving in 2. Expedited options are available at checkout where the destination supports them.

Transit estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Weather, carrier backlogs and holiday volume can extend delivery beyond the estimate.

4. Shipping charges

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on destination and service level before you pay. Any applicable taxes are shown at the same point. There are no undisclosed handling fees.

5. Packaging and cold chain

Vials are shipped in protective, discreet outer packaging with no product names displayed on the exterior. Lyophilised material is stable at ambient temperature for the duration of domestic transit; where a compound requires it, orders ship with an insulated liner and cold pack.

Every shipment includes the batch identifier needed to retrieve the matching certificate of analysis. Certificates are also available on request against your order number.

6. Tracking

A tracking number is emailed as soon as the label is generated and can also be looked up on our track-order page. Carrier scans can take several hours to appear after dispatch.

7. Address accuracy

You are responsible for supplying a complete and accurate delivery address, including any suite, building or laboratory identifier. We cannot change an address once a label has been generated. Packages returned to us as undeliverable because of an incorrect address can be reshipped once the return is received, at the cost of a second shipping charge.

8. Restricted destinations

We do not ship to any jurisdiction in which the sale, import or possession of the ordered material is restricted or unlawful, and we do not ship to residential addresses in jurisdictions that prohibit receipt of research materials. Orders that cannot lawfully be fulfilled are cancelled and refunded in full.

We do not ship to PO boxes for orders requiring a signature or cold-chain handling.

9. Lost, delayed and damaged shipments

If tracking has not updated for five business days, contact support@basictides.com with your order number and we will open a carrier trace. Confirmed lost shipments are replaced or refunded once the trace concludes.

Damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the outer packaging and the affected vials so we can file the carrier claim and arrange a replacement.

10. Research use

Everything we ship is supplied strictly for laboratory and research use only and is not for human consumption. Accepting delivery does not alter that restriction.
